Ba Ba

Since this is relatively new, I took a video of Mason babbling this morning in his saucer.  He likes to jabber to himself a lot now, usually sticking with the general "ba ba", although sometimes it does sound more like "ma ma" (hopefully that will come before "da da")! He also decided to do the lean back in this video..that is new too! Enjoy!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Griffin!

Mason (May May) would like to say a special Happy Birthday to his big cousin Griffin today! We wish we could be there to celebrate with you, but we hope you have a great day today and fun party this weekend! Love you!  Mason expresses his excitement in the video below:

Sippy!

Meet Mason's new BFF...the sippy cup! We started giving him a sippy at meal times a few days ago to explore with a little water inside. He knows how to use it now but needs a little help getting it tipped back for the water to come out. He seems to like it so far, and tonight at one point actually cried when it was just out of reach and stopped when we helped him get some water out! Hopefully this is a sign of things to come!

Keep Away

This afternoon Darby brought a ball to Eric and wanted to play fetch.  After a few minutes, we decided to play keep away with the ball (I know we're mean, but Darby does find it fun!).  Below you will see Mason's reaction to this game.  We thought it was too cute not to tape! (P.S. Sorry the video is a bit shaky, I am bad at catch normally, let along one-handed!)

After our doctor visit today we are happy to report that our (not so little) man is a big 19 lbs 3 oz and 27 inches!  He is sure growing fast!  He was a very VERY good boy at the doctor's office and took the shots like a trooper per usual.  We really are spoiled!  Enjoy a picture below from Mason's encounter with his cake! Happy 1/2 Birthday Mason! We love you lots and lots! :)

6 months!

Today is Mason's 6 month birthday!  It is so hard to believe our little guy is already so big!  He has recently mastered sitting up, and is SO MUCH FUN to be around!!  Mason is usually smiling or laughing at something!  No words can say how much we love our little man!!!  :)  We don't go to the Dr. until tomorrow (I will post stats then) so today I will just post the pictures I took this morning! Enjoy!
