Cereal

 Here is a short video of Mason's first experience with rice cereal.  It didn't go so well tonight, but I think that's mostly because we tried it with formula.  Tomorrow night I will mix it with breast milk and see how it goes.  A few pictures of how this experience ended follow the video.  We have a big boy on our hands! :)

4 month stats

Mason has his 4 month appointment this afternoon.  He weighed in at a big 15 lbs 15 oz and measured 25 inches long!  He took his shots very well also!  The first two he just whimpered after, and only cried after the third one (which Daddy said was okay because the needle was large!).  Tomorrow we start with rice cereal!  We will make sure to let everyone know how it goes!  Here is another photo I took this morning in the swing (I finally got my smile I was wanting! :) )

4 months!

Today is Mason's 4 month birthday!  Isn't it hard to believe how time flies?!  Anyway, I took his pictures this morning, and although he didn't show me too much of that adorable smile, he chose instead to stare at his new favorite thing for almost all 83 pictures!  Apparently, Darby is the new favorite (at least to Mason)!  He watches him all day everyday, so not surprising that he was the main focus of the pictures.  Enjoy a few of the pictures!  Updates from the doctor will be posted this evening after his doctor's appointment, as well as possibly pictures of him eating his first cereal (if the doctor sees fit). :)

Laughter

Here is a short video of Mason laughing at Darby and Daddy playing today.  He LOVES to watch Darby.  He also has started "petting" him, and when Darby licks him he laughs hysterically, just like in this video. :) I think I see a budding friendship. :)  These two will be great playmates!
